Lantern Reply is a Chrome extension that notifies users when ChatGPT or Claude finishes generating a response in another tab.

What Lantern Reply accesses

Lantern Reply accesses content on supported sites, including chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, and claude.ai, only to detect whether a reply is in progress or has completed.

What Lantern Reply stores

Lantern Reply stores user settings locally in the browser, such as notification preferences, sound settings, and related extension options.

What Lantern Reply does not do

• It does not sell user data.
• It does not use user data for advertising or profiling.
• It does not transfer user data to third parties except where required by law.
• It does not use user data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.

Remote code

Lantern Reply does not use remotely hosted code. All executable code is included in the extension package.

Data retention

Settings remain in the user’s local browser storage until changed or removed by the user.
